The scabbard has a glossy black finish with hand painted artwork which looks great. This Katana can be used in battle or for display with the included wooden display stand. Extremely happy with this katana!

The shipping was extremely quick and the sword is absolutely gorgeous in person. I own several katana ranging in price and this one has easily become one of my favorites. The only problem was the wooden box of maintenance tools was broken but the customer service was quick and very helpful in resolving this for me. I would definitely recommend this katana and will be buying more products from this site in the future.
